We have a program designed with you in mind.  Members of the surgical team work in a variety of places.  The  options are many.  Each program provides you with the knowledge, skills, and behaviors necessary to become a certified expert.

  • Registered Nurse - First Assistant - RNFA  Completely on line except for a one week lab.  Spring NUR2790 RNFA Theory and  Summer NUR2790L RNFA Lab and Clinical with a First Assistant with Workshop in June each year.

• Central Supply Assistant -  300 Hour Occupational Completion Point for Surgical Technology program

  Central Services Technician - 500 Hour Course Completer Qualifies the student for a certificate as a central supply assistant who works in instrument rooms and processes instrumentation, supplies,  and equipment. This course is excellent for those who want to begin a career ladder or need Part-time evening course completion. This course is available for young graduates, for those working on their GED, or those needing part time educational opportunities since  it is offered from 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with clinical experience arranged to meet your schedule.  Additional general education courses can be taken online such as medical terminology and an approved anatomy and physiology course. Course completion can be accomplished in 2 semesters and provide an employment opportunity for those seeking short time work while continuing school, as a career step ladder to other opportunities, or as a full-time professional career.

• Dual Enrollment Class - Available as an exploration of healthcare careers for both high school students and college students. 3 credit class which is completely online . See your counselor today to sign up for it.

• Surgical Technology Virtual Lab Training Hands-on Mock Surgery Prior to Actual Clinical Experiences
• Advisory Board STRIVE FOR EXCELLENCE.  An advisory board provides in put and direction to our program as we strive to continuously improve the program and our graduate quality in performance.
• CAAHEP Commission on Accreditation for Allied Health Education Programs: Our program is a nationally accredited program.  Successful students who fulfill all graduation requirements can sit for the National Certification examination to become a certified surgical technologist who can use the credentials CST with their name.
